
John Fleming
Founder & President of PA Rebels Baseball Program
Coach Fleming has built one of the most respected travel programs in the area with a system that prioritizes player development, not just wins and losses. This model has guided over 40 players over the past four years into college baseball programs. Coach Fleming currently serves as the Pitching Coach at West Chester University, reaching the Final Four in the 2022 Division II World Series. He is also the Head Coach of our 2026 and 2027 National teams. From 2009 through 2016, Coach Fleming was the head baseball coach at Neumann University, where he coached the Knights in back-to-back regional appearances while accumulating a school-record 189 wins. In 2012, he was recognized as Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year. Coach Fleming also has a son who played 16 years of professional baseball and another son who is currently playing at the college level.
Billy Davis
PA Rebels’ Director of Hitting
PA Rebels’ Director of Hitting. Coach Davis is the current hitting and catching coach at West Chester University. Previously he had a 3-year stop at Penn State Harrisburg, where they were ranked top 15 at the D3 level. Coach Davis helped PSU Harrisburg’s offense rank top 5 in multiple offensive categories. During his playing days, Coach Davis spent 4 years at Messiah University.
John Bellaver
PA Rebels’ Director of Teams
Coach Bellaver possesses over 20 years of coaching experience at the high school and college levels. Coach Bellaver was the hitting coach at West Chester University, reaching the DIl World Series in 2009. Coach Bellaver is currently the head coach at Avon Grove High School and is coaching one of our 2029 Rebel teams.
Jerry Oakes
PA Rebels’ Director of Recruiting
Coach Oakes was a 7th-round draft pick by the Milwaukee Brewers. He played 8 years of professional baseball with the Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, and San Francisco Giants. He also has 15 years of coaching experience at the Division 1 level and 4 years as a pitching coach at Coastal Carolina University. Before that, Jerry spent 8 years as the pitching coach at the University of Pittsburgh, 6 years as a recruiting coordinator, and 3 years as the pitching coach at Elon University. He has watched 65 players be drafted, including one first-rounder and 12 big leaguers. As part of the Rebels, Jerry works with our pitchers and helps our players find the best baseball and academic fit at the college level.
Mitch Peers
PA Rebels’ Director of Operations
Coach Peers concluded his college playing career at Kutztown University in 2023 and had a previous stop at JUCO powerhouse Rowan College of South Jersey. At Kutztown University, he was a part of the CSC Academic All-District team, won 3x D2ADA Academic Achievement awards, and was a 2x team captain. At Boyertown High School, he was a starter on the 2016 PIAA state championship team as a sophomore, helping his team secure the state title. Coach Peers has been with the Rebels since 2023, helping coach our teams and working with players at the facility.
Mike LaRosa (9u): Coach LaRosa is entering his 5th year as the head baseball coach at West Chester University (WCU), where he currently carries a 131-55 record. He brings forth a decorated resume, as he played at WCU in 2002-05, was named NCAA Division II National Defensive Player of the Year in 2003, played professional baseball for the New Haven County Cutters, and was inducted into the WCU Hall of Fame in 2017. Also noted, he spent 9 years as the head coach at Widener University.
Andrew Rodriguez (10u): Coach Rodriguez (Arod) completed his college baseball career at Immaculata University in 2022. While pitching for the Mighty Macs, Coach Arod’s career can be highlighted when he struck out 8 batters over five innings of work, surrendering zero runs and recording the win. He was a member of the 2020-21 Atlantic East All-Academic Team. Before playing for Immaculata, Coach Rodriquez played for the Chichester High School Baseball team.
Brian Stocker (10u): Coach Stocker attended Bangor Area High School and played at Arcadia University from 1999 to 2003. While at Arcadia University Coach Stocker was a pitcher and an outfielder. Coach Stocker is currently a teacher and was the high school assistant baseball coach from 2008 to 2011 at Norristown Area High School.
Cory Wine (11u): Coach Wine is a name that resonates with many baseball people in the area, as his grandfather played and coached with the Phillies. As a player at Penn State University, Coach Wine ranks in the top 5 of many offensive categories. After college, Coach Wine was drafted and went on to play professionally for the Philadelphia Phillies organization for three years.
Tom Pletcher (13u): Coach Pletcher was a pitcher at Widener University from 2003-2007. After Widener, he jumped right into coaching and helping players improve at Triple Crown in Limerick, PA. Over the past 18 years, he has been a highly regarded baseball instructor and a coach in the Limerick Panthers organization from 2015 to 2020. Coach Pletcher joined the PA Rebels program in the summer of 2022.
Matt Pusey (2027 Regional): Coach Pusey played for West Chester East High School and continued his playing career at the University of Richmond. In his senior year, he was named to the ABCA Division 1 All-America Second Team, All-CAA First Team, and the Virginia Player of the Year while leading the Spiders to the CAA Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Regionals. He led the league with a .401 average, 101 hits, 24 doubles, and 15 home runs while breaking the CAA single-season record with 85 RBIs and ended his career with a .397 BA. He has also served as President of East Side Little League and has coached various levels of youth baseball for the past 10 years.
Jeff Pinder (2026 National): Coach Pinder has been a hitting coach for over 25 years. He has numerous connections as he was the head coach at Penn State Berks and Oley Valley High School. He was the hitting coach at Widener, Neumann, and Kutztown University, where he guided the Golden Bears to an appearance at the 2010 DII World Series. Coach Pinder owns The Hitting Club, a training facility in Boyertown, PA.
Ryan Oakes (12u): Coach Oakes is an alumnus of Episcopal Academy, where he is currently coaching the high school’s baseball team.
John Leith (12u): John Leith is in his second year of coaching Rebels baseball. John has been coaching baseball, basketball, and football for over 10 years at multiple age levels. The WCU graduate was named to the 1st Team All ECAC and Academic All-American team in 1996. He was a member of the WC East two-time Ches-Mont and District Championship teams in 1991 and 1992. He was also named the Daily Local News Player of the Year while at WC East in 1991.
Nick Mullen (13u): Coach Mullen is a rising junior at George Washington University, where he plays Division 1 baseball. He was out due to injury in his sophomore season; however, he was fortunate enough to start every game at shortstop his freshman year at GW. Before college, Coach Mullen attended Downingtown East High School while also playing and coaching for the Rebels program.
Tom DiVittorio (14u): Coach DiVittorio has been coaching in the Rebels organization since 2023.Played at Avon Grove High School and was recruited to play at Cabrini University. Started his coaching career as an assistant at Upper Merion Area High School. DiVittorio is currently a teacher and assistant coach at Avon Grove High School.
Kyle Reynolds (15u): Coach Reynolds was a pitcher for Coach Fleming at Cardinal O’Hara High School. He was All-Conference in both baseball and track and a member of the 2003 PCL championship baseball team. After graduation, he played for Gwynedd Mercy University, where he was utilized as the closer for all four years of his college career and helped the team to three NCAA regional appearances and two conference titles. Kyle achieved the records for most saves, appearances, and fewest walks allowed during his collegiate career. Coach Reynolds has played in the West Chester Adult Baseball League and has coached there since 2017. Kyle is currently the varsity pitching coach at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.
Jake Carr: Coach Carr played baseball for Conestoga High School. He played for East Stroudsburg University, followed by Cumberland County CC, and then Ohio Valley University, where he was team captain. Coach Carr was the hitting coach at the University of Sciences for three years before being named the hitting coach at West Chester University in 2021. In 2022, Coach Carr helped guide a record-setting West Chester team to the DII World Series Final Four.
EJ Moyer: Coach Moyer is the founder and owner of D1 Bullpens which offers training designed for young pitchers and catchers to help achieve their goals at both the high school and college level. With over 28 years of coaching experience, he is one of the premier pitching coaches in the area. Coach Moyer has placed multiple players into college baseball programs through his years as coach at Malvern Prep, Coatesville High School, and currently at Downingtown East High School.
Dennis Reardon: PA Rebels’ Director of Development – Coach Reardon is a well-respected and renowned baseball coach and is the youngest coach to be inducted into the PA Babe Ruth Hall of Fame. Starting from his years coaching at UDHL in the 1990’s Coach Reardon has achieved success with several teams competing for District, state, Babe Ruth, and Cal Ripken World Series titles. In 2015 he coached his 12U West Bradford Bulls to the championship game of the US Cal Ripken World Series.
Avery Spencer: Coach Spencer is currently a senior on the West Chester University baseball team. In the 2024 season with the Rams, he hit .343 and earned himself First-Team All-PSAC East Honors. Before his West Chester career, Coach Spencer had a 2-year career at Radford University where he posted a career .317 batting average.
Jake Kelchner: Coach Kelchner finished his playing career at Goldey-Beacom College in 2024 where he had a career 4.22 ERA. During his career for the Lightning, he earned First Team All-CACC and Second Team CCA All-East Region as a pitcher. Throughout his playing career, Coach Kelchner had stops at the University of Alabama, Hofstra University, and Lackawanna Community College.
John DeMucci (Jr.): Coach DeMucci wrapped up his playing career at West Chester University in 2024. This previous season he registered a .328 batting average while carrying a .982 fielding percentage behind the plate. Throughout his Rams career, Coach DeMucci earned First-Team All-Conference and was a consensus All-Region selection.
John DeMucci (Sr.): Coach DeMucci is an assistant coach at Monsignor Bonner/Prendie High School. He is an experienced coach who has been working with catchers in the Tri-state area for the past 20 years.
Eric Miller: Coach Miller has been with the PA Rebels for 4 years. He is a 1992 graduate of West Chester University, where he played baseball for 4 years and was named a team captain his senior year. Coach Miller began coaching at Little Baseball Inc. at their renowned summer camps. He continued coaching pitchers at WCU as a volunteer in 1993. Since that time, he has coached Babe Ruth, Little League, American Legion, and travel teams at three organizations for over 30 years. He is currently an Academic Coach at Neumann University.
Glenn Davis: Coach Glenn Davis was a 1997 First Round Pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers after being an All-SEC Selection at Vanderbilt University. He played 8 years in the Minor Leagues with the Dodgers, Yankees, and Nationals. Coach Glenn Davis uses proven hitting approaches and techniques while focusing on our players’ hitting velocities.
Pat Shevlin: Coach Shevlin played 3 years of D3 baseball at Arcadia University. In his junior year at Arcadia, his team won the conference for the first time in program history. Coach Shevlin has coached all levels of baseball from 9U through high school levels with about 5 years of coaching experience.
Doug deMarrais: Coach deMarrais finished his collegiate baseball career in 2019 at Villanova University. While playing there, he was a 4x Big Five player of the week, 1x Big East player of the week, and set 3 school-catching records. Before arriving at Villanova, Coach deMarrais spent time on the Rutgers University baseball team for two years. In 2023, Coach deMarrais was inducted into the Bernards High School Hall of Fame
